Make Up by Mario Dedivanovic

Morning! My favorite make up artist for the celebrities is Mario Dedivanovic. He's done Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian clan's makeup for years, who I'm obsessed with! I came across a gorgeous picture of Kim Kardashian and her make up was flawless and Mario posted a tutorial on how he did her makeup, So I wanted to share the secrets with you, straight from Mario's website!

"SKIN-
I started with moisturizing Kim’s face and neck using La Mer’s The Moisturizing Lotion.  I let that settle for about five minutes and then applied Veil Fluid Makeup (No. 3: Sand) by Hourglass all over the skin and blended with a damp sponge.  This foundation gives a luminous, lasting coverage.  Under the eyes, I used By Terry’s Touche Veloutee Concealer in the Cream shade.  I blended a bit on the eye lids as well to prime them for the eyeshadow. To set skin I used a bit of Jane Iredale PureMatte Finish Powder, mainly on the T-zone and over the concealer to set.
EYE  brows, lids and lashes
I filled in Kim’s brows with Brow Tech To Go in Taupe, by Smashbox.  To get the soft, golden shade on Kim’s eyes, first I layered LORAC Tantalizer Baked Bronzer on eyelids and along the  lower lashes. Next I went over it and applied eye M Glam highlighter over eyelids, inner corners of eyes and a bit on the brow bones.  Sweep Eye M Glam along lower lashes as well and blend it out to get that smoky golden look.  I defined the upper lash line with By Terry eyeliner in Macassar Brown.  In the waterline or inner rim of the eyes, I used the Eye M Glam all over pencil (available soon) I added a few medium sized individual lashes by Reese Robert (really cool line of eyelashes!) for extra volume and finished off the eyes with two coats of Hypnose Mascara by Lancome on the top and bottom lashes.
CHEEKS-
I bronzed the hollows of Kim’s cheeks, along her hairline, jaw and down the center of neck with Terracotta Bronzing powder by Guerlain. I added a hint of color to the apple of the cheeks using LORAC blush in Pink and swept over the apples and along the cheekbones with Giella’s Eye M Glam highlighter.  I used the left-over highlighter on the brush and applied it down the bridge of the nose and on the cupids bow of her lips.  To add some of that golden glow to the body, I used Sigma’s Body Brush which is plated in 18K gold and has super-soft bristles!  Just dip the brush into the Eye M Glam lid and apply straight to your body.
LIPS -
I lined Kim’s lips with Josie Maran lipliner in Natural and kept the lip shade in the same color family as the cheeks by applying a blend of MAC lipstick in Half ‘n Half followed by Eye M Glam AcryLip gloss (available soon.)
I finished off Kim’s makeup by spraying a light mist of Rose Water by Dream Organics on her face and neck.  This sets the makeup and gives a fresh, dewy look to the skin."

Philip Treacy!

With the royal wedding on every single channel and so much talk about the fashion that occurred on Friday, the designer was the hottest talk for his hats! I'll do one single blog about it! It's a fashion must for the ladies in England to wear hats in respect to the Queen. His name is Philip Treacy, born in Ahascragh, a tiny village in Country Galway in the west of Ireland and he's been designing ever since. These hats the ladies were wearing were crazy and beautiful!!  I'll post some of the famous hats worn at the wedding and SATC! XO KMN XO. http://www.philiptreacy.co.uk/ Defiantly statement pieces!

Feathers!

Feather hair extensions are a huge CRAZE! I had them and now it's the new "it" thing! It's to die for! You can get them in salons is all different variations, colors and lengths! it's so chic! Find a local salon near you to get them! XOKMNXO

OMBRE Hair Color!

The newest crave is modeled on Drew Barrymore, Jessica Biel, Rachel Bilson and Lacey Schwimmer! It's different and eye catching! Ombre hair is accomplished by creating a dark root and then extending downward to a lighter tip. It has many people questioning whether these ladies became too lazy for a touch-up, or if they’re doing it on purpose. To be amazed, it's definitely done on purpose and in for the year... at least for now! It is chic, easy, unique, and more importantly can be derived from any hair color. So let those roots keep growing ladies!

Peter Thomas Roth Botanical Buffing Beads

Good afternoon! This exfoliating scrub is wonderful! It's my favorite! It's blue buffing beads that comes in a 8.5oz bottle for around $36.00! I mainly use it on my body but if I don't have time to use my Dermalogica Microfoliant on my face, I'll use this! It's easier to use one product for everything for money savings and it saves space in the shower! It's for all skin types which is perfect and warm water partially dissolves the scrub so it's gentle, minimizing irritation on sensitive skin. It's sebum emulsifying jojoba beads with whole leaf aloe cera and botanical nutrients which will exfoliate the dead skin cells which will help moisturizers penetrate into the skin better! This is prefect to unclog those stubborn pores!! It's formulated without phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan. What I do is I steam my body and/or face which helps relax and open up my pores, so my exfoliates and cleansers really get in and clean. I usually follow with a moisturizing body wash with a shot of cold water to shrink my cleansed pores and I lotion my skin up right when I get out so the excess water helps penetrate the lotion into my skin because your skin drinks water for hydration and it will be a more effective way to get your skin to top shape!

Hairsprays!!!!!!

Hello! Day two! A good, perfect hairspray is hard to find!! When I curl my hair, I use "Kenra Thermal Styling Spray 19" to hold my curls all day, even with humidity! Kenra's hair care line, the styling products are numbered from 0-25, 0-zero hold and 25 being super hold. When I use the thermal spray, I spray evenly and lightly in sections before I curl my hair, 4-6 inches away from my hair and make sure not to spray too much because it will make your hair crunchy! It has an awesome hold! It's a thermal protectant too so you don't fry your hair! One ingredient in it is benzophenone which is UV sunscreen protection which helps with drying and color fading! It doesn't necessarily make my hair shine but they do have an awesome shine spray in the line, which smells amazing like cotton candy and it's light on the hair without being greasy! (Shine Spray $15). After all the styling and teasing, I usually spray over with Kenra 25 Hairspray which has an awesome hold but it can become heavy and sticky if it's applied too much! Make sure to use a clarifying shampoo, the line Malibu (http://malibuc.com/content/CN_Catalog.aspx?id=7) has a nice one, to get rid of all the products and toxins in your hair (Use once a week)! Use a good conditioner after!

Back to hairsprays! I've tried every hairspray on this earth, here's just a few I featured!
Kenra: All the hairsprays, what you read is what you get which is rare!! #25 super strong #18-Artformation strong hold #13-Perfect medium #9-Design lightest hold. (all smell good). *Not platinum line*
Sebastian: Shaper (good light hold) Shaper-Plus(amazing hold but smells funny) Zero-Gravity(didn't do much for me)  ReShaper (good, strong hold) Shaper-Fierce (Strong, sticked hold)
TIGI Bedhead Masterpiece (good shiny hold, sticky) Hard Head( Strong, good hold, smells ok) Maxxed-out (wet, heavy, gross)
Big Sexy Hair Concepts: Spray & Stay(smells like black licorice, heavy) Spray & Play (medium, ok)
Alterna Caviar: Working Hair Spray(Medium hold, Favorite) *Comparable to Kenra 25
Matrix-VaVoom: Freezing Spray (firm hold)  Shape Maker Extra hold/medium (smells like black licorice and ok hold for both)
I love hairspray, it's a key component if you find a good one!
